14 Stunden auf der Fähre mit 3 Stops und unmengen von Leuten. Naja, war ne Erfahrung und ich habs sogar geschafft nen Platz für meine Isomatte zu finden und konnte ein klein bisschen schlafen. Um 6 Uhr morgens waren wir dann in San Carlos. Das 8 Uhr Boot nach El Castillo war leider schon voll, so dass wir bis um 12 warten mußten. Aber die 4 Stunden Fahrt auf dem Rio San Juan war wirklich schön. In San Carlos hab ich auch ein paar Austalier und nen völlig verrückten Engländer getroffen. Abends Essen gehen mit denen war wirklich lustig!

14 hours on the ferry with 3 stops in between and heaps of people on that ferry. Well, it was an experience and I even found a spot to put my matress and could get some sleep. We arrived in San Carlos at 6am in the morning. Unfortunately the 8am boat to El Castillo was already full, so we had to wait until 12. But the 4 hour boatride up the Rio San Juan was really nice. In San Carlos I met some australian guys and a really funny english guy. Going out for dinner with them was just a blast!

Am Samstag sind wir alle auf eine Wanderung ins Indio Maiz Reservat gegangen. Wir haben uns den perfekten Tag ausgesucht: Es hat die ganze Zeit geregnet. Die Wanderung war aber trotzdem gut und zum Schluss haben wir sogar noch ein paar Tiere gesehen: Giftige Frösche, ein Faultier und nen Spinnenaffen. Abends sind wir wieder zusammen Essen gegangen und haben den berühmten Fluss Shrimps probiert - echt lecker.

Satureday we all went on a hike in the Indio Maiz reserve. We picked a good day and time: It was raining the whole time. But it was nice anyway and by the end of the hike we even saw some wildlife. Poisonous frogs, a sloth and a spider monkey. At night we went out for dinner again to try the famous river shrimp - really good.

Sonntag und Montag hab ich dann das Dorf erkundet und das Castillo angeguckt. Alle anderen waren schon weitergezogen und ich hab viel Zeit mit einem Mädel aus Managua verbracht, was sehr gut für mein Spanisch war. Sonntag haben wir zwei Jungs aus dem Dorf getroffen, die uns in ihrem Kanu mit auf den Fluss zum Angeln genommen haben, was echt lustig war.

Sunday and Monday I explored the town and visitd the Castillo. All the other guys had left already and I spent a lot of time with a local girl from Managua, which I met on the ferry, which was really good for my spanish. On sunday we met some local guys who took us out to go fishing with their little canue, which was really fun.
