easterns at the university of new hampshire - the last race weekend for me. and it was beautyful weather on friday so i expected a nice and sunny race weekend. unfortunately it turned out different. we left umass saturday morning in pouring rain and it should become worse. the saturday roadrace really was everything than fun: temperatures probably a little bit above freezing and rain, rain, rain. to top that the finish line was not were we started but they put it after a climb which didn't want to end at all...
i ended up ninth but it was far more important to get back into the dry and warm van...

sunday was much more fun. it was still cold in the morning but at least it didn't rain. originally we wanted to do the d time trial bu brodsky forgot his shoes, so it was only the b squad (supported by eric) who did the time trial.
i did the crit though and i got the best result of the whole season: i ended up fourth. and it also got nice and sunny meanwhile - a perfect racing day!
