Weiter gings auf die Pazifikinsel Boca Brava. Geniale Insel - klein aber oho. Bin mit 2 Australiern angekommen, mit denen ich mir auch ein Zimmer geteilt habe. Die ersten beiden Tage haben wir in erster Linie rumgegammelt, haben die Insel erkundet, waren viel baden und haben uns an den Kokosnüssen am Strand satt gegessen.

My next stop was the Boca Brava, a beautyful small island in the pacific. I arrived together with two Aussis and also shared a room with them. The first two days were pretty lazy, exploring the island a little, lots of swimming and sub bathing, and picking and eating coconuts from the beach.

Irgendwann sind dann auch noch mehr Leute aufgetaucht und am dritten Tag hatten wir eine zeimlich grosse Gruppe zusammen für einen Tagesausflug zur White Beach, einer kleinen Strandinsel im Nationalpark. Und da ging es dann schnorcheln (das erste Mal für mich). Geniale Welt da unten: So viele bunte Fische und so klares Wasser. Schüner gehts kaum.

Over time more people arrived on the island and on the third day we had a pretty decent group to together to go for a day trip to White Beach, a small beach island in a national park. Apart form relaxing in the sun we went snorkling (first time fir me). Amazing world down there. So many colorful fish and the cristal clear water. Almost like paradise.

Auf Boca Brava hab ich auch David und Kelley kennengelernt, ein Amipärchen, dass schon seit 3 Jahren in Costa Rica wohnt. Und wie es der Zufall so will sogar mehr oder weniger auf dem Weg zu meiner nächsten Ziel, d.h. ein Zwischenstopp drägt sich ja geradezu auf... Aber vorher gab es noch einen sehr lustigen Feier-, Tink- und Spieleabend. Ach ja, und die beiden Holländer von der Isla Grande sind auch noch aufgetaucht. Was für eine kleine Welt...

On Boca Brava I also met David and Kelley, an american couple which lives in Costa Rica for three years already. And, as luck would have it, they lived more or less on the way towards my next planed destination, so that stoping by on my way is almost impossible... But before, we had a very entertaining party, drinking, card game night. Almost forgot, the two dutch guys from Isla Grande also suddenly appeared again. What a small world...
