Auf zu den Maya Ruinen in Tikal. Wenn man nachmittags ankommt, gilt das Ticket auch noch für den nächsten Tag. Also hab ich mir nen Platz für meine Hängematte im Jaguar Inn geschnappt und war so gegen 16:00 Uhr im Park. Sehr cool der Park in der Dämmerung und ohne die ganzen Tourimassen. Sogar nen paar Tiere hab ich gesehen. Naja, und die Temple die da aus dem Dschungel ragen sind echt beeindruckend. Bin auf Temple IV - dem größten - geklettert, um den Sonnenuntergang zu sehen. Leider war es bewölkt und ich konnte den Sonnenuntergang nicht sehen. Aber oben zog ein fettes Gewitter auf, was auch sehr beeindruckend war.
Am nächsten morgen hieß es um 4 Uhr morgens aufstehen, um die Führung bei Sonnenaufgang mitzumnachen. Hat zwar immer noch ein bißchen geregnet, aber war trotzdem sehr cool. Danach hab ich den Park dann noch auf eigene Faust weitererkundet. Ohne Ende laufen und viele coole Tempel. Und es war nicht mal so voll wie ich gedacht hätte.
Nachmittags gings mit dem Bus zurück nach Flores. Von da gibt es nen Nachtbus nach Guatemala City von wo ich dann mit dem Bus nach Panajachel gefahren bin, wo ich dann morgens auch irgendwann angekommen bin.

Heading to the Maya ruins in Tikal. If you arrive in the afternoon your ticket is still valid for the next day. So I got could grap a spot for my hammock at the Jaguar Inn at around 4pm and had the opportunity to explore the park already a little bit in the dawn. The advantages are less tourists and more wildlife to see. Amazing those huge temples in the dschungel especially when the sun comes down. So I climbed Temple IV, the highest in Tikal to enjoy the view. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't too good, so that you could not see the sunset. However, a huge thunderstorm came up, which also was an amazing experiment up there on the temple.
The next morning, I got up at 4 am to take a tour in the park at sunrise. It war still raining, but the tour was OK and afterwards I continued to explore the park on my own. A lot of walking a many cool temples and other stuff. And it wasn't even that crowded.
In the afternoon I took the bus back to Flores. From there they have a night bus to Guatemala City from where I took the bus to Panajachel, where I finally arrived early in the morning.
