Panajachel ist wohl einer der Plätze wo irgendwann sämtliche Hippies hängen geblieben sind. Es ist der Anlaufpunkt um in alle anderen Dörfer am See zu kommen und sehr touristisch mit all den Straßenständen mit Klamotten und Tourizeugs. Aber genau das wollte ich hier ja machen: shoppen. Geht ja langsam zu Ende meine Zeit hier und ein paar Klamotten und Hängematten uns so wollte ich ja doch mitnehmen.Zuerst gings nach Santiago Atitlan und Abschluß des Kaufrauschs hab ich dann wieder in Panajachel ausgelebt.

Panajachel is one of those towns where apparently all the hippies got stuck at some point. It is the gateway to all the other towns around the lake and very touristy with all those clothes and all the tourist stuff to buy. But that was exactly my plan for here: Buy stuff. Since my trip is coming to an end, I wanted to buy some clothes, hammocks and souvenirs. First I went to Santiago Atitlan and then finished my shopping back in Panajachel.

Da alles shopping erledigt war, ging es auch am nächsten morgen weiter nach San Pedro. Ein nettes kleines Dorf wo nicht allzu viel passiert. Sehr tranquilo. Hab mir mal wieder nen Rad ausgeliehen um die anderen Dörfer am See zu erkunden. Ich ich bin fast bis Jaibalito gekommen. Aber zum Schluß wurde der Weg dann doch zu einem kleinen Trampelpfad, den man mit dem Rad nicht mehr fahren konnte.

Since all the shopping was done, I went on to San Pedro. A nice little village where not too much was happening. Very tranquilo. I rent a bike to explore the other villages around the lake. And I almost made it all the way to Jaibalito. However, the last part was a really small trail, impossible to bike.
